Mission Statement

The foundation was created to work to improve the quality of life of peoples in disadvantaged areas of the world, to the extent that we can do so with our resources, and provided that we can verify the receipt and utilization of the donated items to our satisfaction. We have chosen to focus our help on a narrow geographical area where our work will have the greatest impact, as opposed to a patchwork approach where the impact per capita would, at best, be minimal. We have established a pool of volunteers, and a growing base of donors of materials. In the long term, we see ourselves targetting recipients in 2 or 3 countries. We will respond to sudden, urgent needs, as well as to ongoing humanitarian assistance in cases of natural disasters, and other tragedies.(Eg.: hurricanes, floods, uprisings, wars). We plan to continue with the supply of medical and personal needs, equipment and materials to hospitals, homes for the aged, orphanages , schools and institutions for the handicapped, as well as certain other groups of people in distress. We want to make a materially beneficial, and hence spiritual, difference in the lives of some people whose only mistake was to have been born in a poor country.
